This is a Nichkhun and Taecyeon fanfic :D

You were walking in a shopping mall, looking for a birthday present for Taecyeon. You both have been bestfriends since you were just four. You were walking with a chocolate smoothie in one hand. You were about to sip it but when suddenly you trip over a matress infront of a shop. Fortunately, someone caught you.

Unfortunately, your smoothie went all over your hero's shirt. "Oh! I am so sorry!" you cried out when you see the stain from your chocolate smoothie on his shirt. You took out a handkerchief from your bag and dabbed it on his shirt. You feel his hard abs. You blushed. He blushed too. He took your hand. "Gwaenchanayo," You then put your handkerchief back in your bag. You held out your hand. "(yourname). Nice to meet you," He smiled and shook your hand. "Nichkhun. Glad to know you," You look at the stain and frowned. "You sure you're okay with that?" You pointed at his shirt. He flapped his shirt. "It'll dry soon," He smiles. You stand nearer to hi and take a closer look at the stain. "But your shirt is cotton, right? The stain will stay, believe me," Being a fashion designer, ofcourse you know about these fabrics. He smiled "How about if you buy me another tshirt, and I will treat you lunch, how's that?" He's a very straightforward guy. I like that. You smiled. "Why not?"

You bought him a nice grey sweater and he treated you to some sushi. You get to know him better and you feel a slight hint of falling-in-love from him. After lunch, you both decided to go to the arcade and have fun. You even took photos together in a photobooth nearby the arcade. You both exchanged cellphone numbers and he sent you home. You forgot everything about Taecyeon's present and his birthday.

27th December 2012

Your door bell rang for the 5th time. It's getting on your nerves. You got out of bed and went to the door sleepily. You open the door and Taecyeon hugs you tightly. Shocked but still sleepy you hug him back. "Annyeong, Taecyeon. Why are you here so early?" He shook your body and smiled. "I miss you, big head!" You punch his arm. "Well okay then, big ears. I missed you too!" You pulled one of his ears and he squealed in playful pain. "Go get ready, (yourname). Or we're gonna be late," He said as he plumped himself on your bed. You went to get your towel and head to the showers. "You better not snoop around in the refridgerator, that cheesecake is mine," You shouted at him from the toilet. He smiled and started to go to the fridge.

He finished eating the cheesecake and slumped back in your bed. He rolled around and heard a loud thud. Your phone fell from your bed. Taecyeon took the phone and unlocked it. He sees there are two unread messages. He smiled. He knew that one of the messages was from him. Taecyeon sees that his name was set as "큰 귀" meaning "Big Ears". He laughed and changed it to "미남은 택연" which means "Handsome Taecyeon" but then he sees another contact with the name "잘 생긴 천사" which means "Handsome Angel and decided to see the text message.

Taecyeon was mad. He was furious. He left your house. Five minutes later you got out of your bathroom and discovered that Taecyeon went missing. You thought he was hiding because you see the cheese cake crumbs on the counter of your kitchen, but sadly you didn't have a clue of where he really is. You grab your phone and sees that your messages have been read. You called your new boyfriend, Nichkhun to go on a search for Taecyeon.

Around 7:00 PM, you and Nichkhun found Taecyeon sitting at a stall, drinking soju. This is bad, really bad. What happened to him? You go to his table and touch his hand. He looked up. He seems drunk. "Taecyeon? What's up? What happened?" He smiled. "Annyeong, (yourname). How are you today?" He giggled. "I heard you had a new boyfriend, is it? Good for you. GOOD FOR YOU." He slammed the table. Nichkhun came nearer and sat next to you. "So this is Nichkhun?" He's drunk. Very drunk. This is not the right time for them both to get to know each other. Nichkhun half smiled and tried to shake hands with Taecyeon.

Taecyeon grab Nichkhun's collar and shoved him to the side of the stall. He fell down hard. "What's wrong with you, man?" Nichkhun shouted. He tried to stand up but Taecyeon was fast, even in his drunk state. Taecyeon sat on Nichkhun and punched him in the face. Nichkhun's nose start to bleed. He moan in pain. You rushed to Nichkhun's side. You glared at Taecyeon.

"What in the hell is wrong with you?!" You shouted in Taecyeon's face. "I love you, (yourname). Haven't you realize that?" Your mouth opened automatically. "You never told me that before." Taecyeon sighed. "I know I should have but I never had the guts. I had a crush on you since we were in 7th grade," He blushed. Or maybe because he's drunk. "You're drunk, Taecyeon," You shook your head and try to help Nichkhun. He's already on his feet.

"You never appreciate anything!" Taecyeon slammed the table again. Nichkhun shrugged and touch his bruise. "Taecyeon, I am so sorry but, we're friends, remember? Pyeongsaeng Chinhan Chingu?" You show him the bracelet he made for you on your birthday. He had one identical to yours, too. "A friend? All this time I was only your friend?" He gestured wildly and ran towards the road. You saw a car speeding towards him and you ran to save him. You pushed him and suddenly everything turns black.

You woke up with a bad headache. You tried to lift your head but your whole head stings. You groan and put your head back. You can see that Nichkhun's holding your hand, sleeping soundly on the edge of your bed while Taecyeon was sleeping on the couch in your ward. Nichkhun suddenly woke up and saw you smiling at him. "Hey, babe," He squeezed your hand. "Hey, Khunnie." He stood up and shifted himself closer to you. He adjusted your bed to a sitting position and he stroke your hair. "Guess how long you slept," He asked you, smiling. "I, I don't know. A few hours? My head is so heavy," You rested your head on your pillow. Nichkhun laughed. "You have been sleeping for..." He checked his watch. "Two weeks, I suppose?" You open your eyes widely. "Wanna know what happened?" Nichkhun smiled widely. You nodded. "Yeah, sure. Why not?"

Night of the incident

"Doctor! Doctor!" Nichkhun was shouting around the hospital, carrying you in his arms. Taecyeon was right behind you talking to a nurse, trying to find the emergency ward. Soon, a doctor named Doctor Cho hurried with a stretcher. Nichkhun set you down on the stretcher and you were brought to the ICU.

It's been three hours. Nichkhun and Taecyeon are still waiting for you in the waiting room. Suddenly Doctor Cho appeared. "How is she, Doctor Cho?" Nichkhun asked. "She has lost a lot of blood. We need to find a blood donor, fast." Taecyeon looked up from his seat and stood up. Nichkhun stammered. "I-I'm here. Is my blood compatible to hers? I'm and O+," The doctor smiled. "You can donate, she's an A+," The doctor then went away. Nichkhun sighed in relief. Taecyeon went near him. "Thank you. For saving her," Taecyeon said as he patted Nichkhun's shoulder. "It's nothing. I just hope she's okay."

After the blood has been transferred you were still in a coma. The doctor said that you'll be fine, but it would probably take some time for you to wake up. Nichkhun never left your side. He stayed in the hospital 24 hours. Taecyeon was there to, frequently but not always. He realized that Nichkhun really loves you. So, after two week observing how much Nichkhun care about you, Taecyeon made a decision.

"Where's Taecyeon?" You asked Nichkhun when he finished telling you what happened the whole time you were "asleep". Nichkhun gestured to the couch, where Taecyeon was actually packing. You didn't realize that he was already awake. Taecyeon walked to your bed. "Hey, Big Head," He smiled. You laughed. "Hey, Big Ears," You punch his shoulder lightly. "I better get going, right Nichkhun?" He smiled at Nichkhun. Nichkhun nods. "You sure you wanna do this?" Taecyeon smiles. "Ofcourse, this is probably my only chance," He smiled and ruffles your hair. "Hey Big Ears, where you going?" You hold his hand as tight as possible. "I'm going somewhere, far away," He looked out the window. "But, you not gonna leave me, right?" He laughed. "I have to. But I'll see you again. I don't know when, But I will," He let's go of your hand. "But where exactly are you going?" You ask again as he's leaving the room. "Search for love," He shouted from outside the door. A tear escaped your eye. Nichkhun wipes it. "He'll be back. He'll be there for you," you smiled at Nichkhun.
